Bexfield 6" Applique/Duckbill Scissors

Applique or Duckbill scissors (so named because of the shaped bill on the lower blade) are precision scissors great for applique and trimming work.

The lower blade lifts the applique fabric while you cut to protect from accidentally cutting the base fabric and therefore allows for trimming close to any edge stitching.
